Vice President
Kent joined Dempsey Benefits as Vice President in 2005. Prior to Dempsey Benefits, Kent managed the commercial sales department for the University of Michigan’s health plan M-CARE. Under his leadership, M-CARE grew to become one of Michigan’s leading health insurance carriers.
Kent is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he was a scholarship athlete and a four-year letter winner with the Men’s swimming and Diving team. Kent currently volunteers as an assistant coach with Skyline High School. Kent and his wife, Dana Tschannen, reside in Brighton, Michigan and they have three children (ages 24, 22, & 20). Kent enjoys swimming, spending time with his family, and traveling.
